DIY Room Spray

I love making my own room sprays because the ingredients are non toxic and make my house smell amazing. I spray this on my bed, couch, curtains, clothes and really just everywhere in my home. It gives my house an instant refresher. Its also made with 3 simple ingredients.

Distilled Water it's important to use water that's been distilled so you're not depositing any minerals when you spray this around the house.

Essential Oils – use your favorite essential oil or your favorite blend.

Witch Hazel – acts as an emulsifier to help blend the oils well together.

Using a funnel, add all ingredients to glass spray bottle. You can use it immediately but I like to wait 24 hours for the oils to blend together. That's all ! How simple was that.

Here are some essential oils you can try to make your own blends with. There are so many different blends you can add to your spray! Get creative. You can totally just look online, there are plenty of mixes you can choose from.

Citrus scents.
Lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit

Floral scents.
Lavender, geranium, Rosemary, clary sage, ylang ylang

Energizing scents.
Peppermint, lemon, eucalyptus, orange, rosemary

Relaxing scents.
Lavender, Chamomile, Bergamot, clary sage

Mix and match to create your favorite blend or use a pre made blend by your favorite essential oil carrier. My favorite it a blend called purify by Revive. It is a essential oil blend of rosemary, citronella, lemon grass, Lavadin, Tea tree and myrtle. Make your own blends for things like holidays, laundry different seasons and more. Enjoy
